LONDON (Thomson Financial) - The London International Financial Futures and Options exchange, or LIFFE, said trading in some of its products was halted due to technical problems after opening briefly at 0700 BST.
The halt has affected futures but not options contracts.
All trades that occurred prior to market suspension will be invalidated, LIFFE said.
